Push notifications and in-page ads have different mechanics
Browser push notifications normally depend on a visitor granting permission and can reach that subscriber outside the original page session. In-page ads render inside a web page and do not create the same ongoing browser permission relationship. A network may offer both, but the labels should not be treated as interchangeable. Ask which format you are enabling and how revenue is attributed.
Before you install the ad code
- Identify whether your integration requests notification permission or renders an in-page ad.
- Check subscription, unsubscribe and frequency controls before installation.
- Review supported browsers and operating systems for your visitor mix.
- Assess actual publisher earnings separately from advertiser campaign prices.
Compare the networks side by side or model your revenue with your own rate.
Why there are no guaranteed CPMs here
Network promotional figures rarely describe your exact inventory. This guide uses public eligibility and payment information, with detailed sources in each review. No network was given a performance score from an unobserved traffic test.
Does the first network in the list pay the most?
No. List order is an editorial starting point, not a performance ranking. Actual earnings require comparable tests on your own inventory.
Can I use more than one network?
Check each network’s terms, exclusivity requirements and allowed ad combinations. Test page performance and visitor experience before increasing ad load.
